NANCY LAW, Bradenton acrylics artist, has been chosen as Featured Artist for October at Island Gallery West. Ms Law is well known as an artist and art teacher specializing in floral botanical studies. The theme of her exhibit will be "Palette Petals." The gallery will host a free public reception in Ms. Law's honor on Friday, October 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.

Island Gallery West, located at 5368 Gulf Dr., Holmes Beach, is a co-operative of 25 local artists offering original, affordable fine art. Mediums available are watercolor, acrylic, oil and mixed-media paintings, fiber art purses, baskets, jewelry, scarves, photography, stained glass and greeting cards.
