This sell-out production from 2006 returns to celebrate women’s lives in all their glory: mothers and daughters, vixens and victims, ordinary moments and the extraordinary miracle of birth. The Vagina Monologues is an Obie Award-winning tour of a forbidden zone that introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter and a Bosnian survivor.
