Event Description

Tours at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall are offered to the public on the first Tuesday of each month, October through May. Tour guides will walk you through the “gallery” of paintings and sculptures of Florida’s most renowned artists. The exhibit, owned by the Fine Arts Society of Sarasota, covers a wide range of media and styles of art dating from the 1930s to present. The Tour also offers the opportunity to go behind the scenes of the Van Wezel for a look at the workings backstage. Tours begin at 10 am in the Main Lobby of the Van Wezel and cost $5 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the Van Wezel Box Office or by calling the Charge Line at 941.953.3368.
