About Me
For the last 10 years I have worked as a storyteller, helping people understand and interpret the art of Rex A Begaye, a traditional Dineh'(Navajo) artist. We travel extensively with his artwork within the Native American art circles, powwows and native gatherings.
His work represents the traditional stories, history and enviromental teachings of the Native people, representing many nations. We have begun to bring traditional native artists to Sarasota to create artistic and educational venues for the public to learn more about the Native American teachings, from the people themselves. Our focus is cultural authenticity. I am currently recording a CD of songs that are written to the stories of his artwork.

Hi,
Thanks for inviting me as a friend on AnythingArts and to the festival as well. Will it be held on Sunday and where is it held? I'm involved in the F.A.B. show at the Art Center Sarasota Thursday - Saturday. It will be fiber artists, basket makers, weaving, and bead work probably similar to many of the Native American crafts, but both with their own twist....
