- A little about me (so that you know I am a real person and not a spammer!)
- I am an Atlanta transplant and an artist working in acrylics and mixed media. My intimate portraits of nature have appeared in national publications including the cover of the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association. The Georgia Department of Agriculture chose my painting of a retriever for the state's dog and cat sterilization license plate. I have had solo shows at Callaway Gardens and the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia.
I am presently teaching acrylics at Art Center Manatee in Bradenton, and working from my studio at home.
What moves me to paint are the unnoticed miracles abundant in our natural world. The purpose of my intimate approach is to say slow down,
look closely, there is a world of wonder right under your nose!
